Scunthorpe Lions Club are proud to announce we have passed the 'half a million' milestone.

In April 2006, our treasurer dusted off many old manuscripts and scrolls from honourable Lion treasurers gone by, and using his "Babbage" machine he added together all the funds raised by our club since our Charter in 1964 and we were all pleasantly surprised when he announce that total fundraising income had surpassed the half a million pounds mark.

That's an average of £12,000 per year since Charter.

And the majority of this to good causes in the local area.

An achievement that every member, both past and present, can be truly proud of.
