These are just some of the events we organize or attend. All Events Listed on this page raise money for the Scunthorpe Lions Charity Account. Every penny raised from these events goes back to all the good causes that the Scunthorpe Lions support. Corus Family Gala Day - June
This is one of the biggest events in Scunthorpe during the Summer Months. The Gala is organised by the Towns Steelworkers for the benefit of the children of their families and everyone in Scunthorpe. Come and visit us at our Caravan where you can have a go at ringing the bell on our large Fairground striker.
Golf Day - July
An annual event held around the end of July. Fantastic day of Golf kindly hosted by Ashby Decoy Golf Club
Party Night - November
An annual event held around the end of November. Fantastic entertainment, great food and your chance to bag a bargain in the charity auction. Tables are available for corporate clients.
Santa comes to town - Middle of November Onwards
With the kind cooperation of Stephen Smiths Garden Centre, Scunthorpe Lions will again be involved in running a Christmas Grotto. This provides an ideal opportunity for children to visit Santa and also ensures, thanks to the generosity of Stephen Smiths, that an appreciable amount can be raised to further the work of the Lions in the Scunthorpe Community. Since 2006 the Grotto has been a huge success and utilising the experience we now have we hope that next Christmas will be even better.

Christmas Raffle
Always plenty of chances to win in our Christmas Raffle. Tickets go on sale from November onwards. Watch out for us in the local supermarkets.
